Lance Wilson won his battle with this GIANT El Salto lunker!!!

Folks, our fishing season at Lakes El Salto and Picachos is about to start up…October 1st!!! Praise the Lord!!!

A recent picture of our beautiful Picachos camp!!

The lakes are in great shape from a water level standpoint. Picachos is FULL…as it always fills before the end of August. Based on a phone call I received today and video footage, El Salto appears to be close to 70% filled with at least a few more weeks left of “rainy season”…and I don’t care if the lake doesn’t fill as it always fishes better in the Fall time of year when it’s NOT full. I do, however, want it to start October at least 70% so we don’t have to worry about oxygen depletion causing a fish die off in May/June…the final two months of the dry season.

Rockie Kalsoe (L) of Lew’s landed this 9lbs 2oz toad his first morning on Picachos!!

I’m going to keep this one short and sweet as I wanted to get this message out NOW to let everyone know it’s about to be GAME ON!!! It’s been a while since the bass in these two lakes have seen a lure and that’s GREAT for the angler…our valuable customers!!!

Our longtime guide Hector produced this 9lbs Salto GIANT!!!

Call us today to book your bass fishing adventure on two of the best bass lakes in the world!

Mike McGowan landed this 8lbs 2oz Picachos HAWG!!!

Good fishin’ and God Bless!
